As the rain pours down outside…and my room fills with darkness. I’m grateful this week to have been transported back to happy times in the sunshine earlier this year.

Our trip – our big hopeful adventure was a blessing, something we had dreamed of but never thought possible. Then a surprise pot of money showed up and sometimes the urge to be sensible, is over ruled by the need to feed the soul and live in the moment, because you never know what’s round the corner.

I’ve already made a few films about our trip… plenty, some would say… yes, probably enough… but there were still bits of footage – full of joy, sunshine and our lovely boys… that it seemed a shame to leave said moments lonely on a hard drive…

So in honour of my week travelling through the archives… it’s a continuation of the first story – a film of random happenings during our month away… each clip tells a story to me, by taking me back to the moment that prompted me to pick up camera and capture the beauty happening… like a moving scrap book or opening a box of memories… that’s the best kind of time capsule.

I’m so grateful we got to experience all of this… for our family and for my creativity… it’s was the best blessing ever…
