Hi, I am Xanthe (pronounced Zan-thee) living between London, UK & Hoi An, Vietnam with Luke. I love to fill the frame with bright colours, movement, sunshine and joy – elevating the everyday and bringing a warm smile.
I’m a photographer, video creator, stop motion artist and educator. A wide variety of projects keeps my photography and video business buzzing with activity. From my beginnings in weddings & lifestyle portrait photography for families and women, to guiding and inspiring others to start shooting video and make their own films, through my workshops and online courses. I’ve worked with many leading UK brands, such as Boden, Cath Kidston, The White Company, Twinings, Penguin Books, Warner Music, Etsy UK to name just a few – creating videos, stop motions and photos to be shared across their social media channels. The variety of work is something I love, from capturing photos and videos for brand campaigns, to creating a stop motion of handbags & shoes in my home studio, or teaching on a video walk, an online class or being invited to speak and teach at many events around the world… or simply playing peek a boo with my camera, while photographing a toddler.
I’m hugely passionate about personal projects, with always a few on the go to push myself creatively and experiment for fun… for example I made a video every weekend for five years – daily videos throughout 2024 on @xanthevideos and my weekly vlogs are on YouTube.
