Live action film can evoke memories and feelings while bringing products to life. I love to create all sorts of films – Visit my FILMS to see examples.

Make your products come alive through the fun of stop motion! I love working with all kinds of products & props to make unique and quirky films. I shoot most of my stop motions in my home studio – coming up with the concepts, sourcing the props, art directing, shooting and creating the finished films ready to be used on multiple platforms – CHECK THEM OUT HERE.

I love to create photos that are filled with movement, colour and emotion. Please check out my PORTFOLIO to see my work.

I offer individually crafted workshops for businesses, to teach their social media teams how to create specific video content. We can cover various aspects of film creation from shooting video through to editing and completing a film ready to share, how to use Instagram Stories and making stop motions. I share practical training to create the content and lots of social media advice for sharing it.

Testimonials –

“Xanthe was a pleasure to work with. Her training day was extremely informative, fun and educational. The day was completely tailored to our company and Xanthe even created personalised videos and training material for the day.  The whole team learnt so much and managed to create their own incredible films with just the use of their mobile phones. Xanthe’s laid-back, friendly and encouraging attitude meant everyone in the group felt extremely comfortable and had a great time learning their new skills.” Abi from Small Luxury Hotels of the World

“We feel so lucky to have spent the day with Xanthe for her MAKE FILMS workshop, she was a pleasure to learn from! It was refreshing to learn new skills and techniques, using only the little tool we always have in our back pockets! The best part is Xanthe’s way of teaching – she comes prepped and ready, walking you through the world of mobile movie making via the varieties of shooting techniques, special effects and editing tips. Everything is delivered in a timely and digestible manner, in bitesize chunks allowing your mind and eyes to adjust to this whole new world!

Xanthe’s teaching is interactive, discursive and peppered with her own stunning films and live demos. A large majority of time is apportioned to getting out there and putting your newly learnt skills to practice. However daunted you feel being both on camera and behind it, Xanthe is there to instil you with confidence or give you more tips (as well as to grab some behind the scenes footage!) Before long, you’re doing it – you’re making a movie, and you’ve been bitten by the bug! You’re using every last second to edit or shape your creations and your mind is full of new possibility… That’s the Xanthe effect; she not only imparts her impeccable skill and filmmaking hacks, she inspires you to see things in a whole new light! Suddenly, your surroundings (however mundane in reality) become the most colourful filmmaking playground!

A few hours with Xanthe has taught us so much; as a small team we now know how to make little works of art using stop motion, slow motion, time lapse and sped up effects, how to edit and craft the films and consider factors such as types of shots, light, angles and much more. We now feel ready to just take the leap and go for it!  Thank you Xanthe!Meera, Melia and Mike, IKEA UK.
