It’s time…

Lately, there’s been lots going on at XBHQ… aka my little lovely business, which is me + my creativity bursting with things I wanna do and create.

Teaching, sharing and inspiring is up there, on my list of things I love to do and I’m so grateful this is part of my work.

Running my online courses is the best!. I’m thrilled when people from all over the world… make films because of something I shared. Or when I prompted them to tell a particular story or shoot in a certain way. I love it when I see my tips or tricks used in their creations.

So I’m super excited to announce my online course offerings starting in December & January! and I’m even more thrilled to share I have a BRAND NEW LEARNING SITE to host them in. Take a peek over HERE. Just adding all the finishing touches to the learning site as we speak… it’s going to be wonderful (My main site is also changing soon!). All the lessons laid out in an easy format, the option to check lessons off once complete and individual login for each member. It’s going to make the experience of learning & creating with me even better!

What’s on offer you ask… First up is –

During 2015 over 500 films were lovingly put together as part of A Year of Creating Time Capsules course… those memories are safely locked away into beautiful films to be viewed in years to come. This course is about taking photos & making films all year long, with a goal of one film a month – a gentle nudge to create often, so you can have some wonderful memories of 2016.

Lots more details are over here –

My summer film is one of my favourite Time Capsule films I’ve made as part of this course…

MAKE FILMS is a brand new course! With weekly prompts and inspiration, this 10 week course will look at different shooting & editing techniques, and the various stories you can tell through making 15 second films for Instagram or one minute films to share online. It’s going to be packed with tips and tricks of how to make all my favourite films! We’ll concentrate a different type of film each week, from stop motions, time lapses, slow mo stories… to simply shooting interesting footage to edit into little films.

Check out all the details here –

I hope something takes your fancy… I’d love to have you join me on one of these experiences – each one is going to be so much FUN!

Look at how much joy this little film of Luke’s spoons can bring…

During November, I’m taking part in a month long blogging challenge – leaving a few words or photos or films here everyday – #NaPhoPoMo
