27 May WEEKENDS IN MAY
For “Make Mini Movies in May” I wanted to challenge myself to create some weekend videos, just like I did for Mini Monday Movies over the years. I felt like this regular project would give me a creative boost, plus I thought with the world slowly opening up here in the UK, I might actually do some fun things worth documenting.
The month didn’t really pan out like that… I should’ve known! With a mix of still being cautious about going to places, the frustrating weather of constant rain and some terrible toothache, which has taken a few weeks to sort out for various reasons. I didn’t really manage to shoot a lot of fun “out and about” things. Oh well, that’s how it rolls sometimes. And it’s still good to have memories of this stay at home time… It actually reminded me of last May and how every day felt the same.
Also, I’ve really been enjoying shooting on the M6. It’s been a great option, as I’m still building strength in my wrist and I find holding my 5D4 is a lot, so this has been a great alternative to just shooting on the phone.
