Every so often we have a tourist day in London… just a little fun in this fair city of ours. One of our favourite place to hang out is the Southbank (as seen here & here…) there is always something to do around there and have a little bit of a play around.

We had loads of fun shooting and collaborating on some films… as part of getting ready for my new course COLLABORATE.

We all came up with ideas of what to do in front of and behind the camera… this is what we created… shooting & editing on the same day.

I wanted to show you can make a film just from stills, so created a stop-motion from photos shot on my Canon 5Dm3 and edited in iMovie…

And the boys made a film shot & edited on the iPod using 8mm app for filming and iMovie for the iPod for editing…

Loads of fun, playing, creating and making these memories!… would you like to make Time Capsules films with your family? Join us for COLLABORATE… 10 weeks of collaborating and creating memories! Yay!

Ha, I loved your tourist day. Reminds me to try and do the same occasionally as I feel I often know other cities better than the one I actually live in. But the funniest thing about reading this post is seeing my boss and her hubby pictured walking past the boys! Small world.

I love the idea of playing tourist for a day! My son and I live on Long Island and like to do the same thing in NYC – it feels so refreshing – almost like a mini vaca!

Great videos- can’t wait to try making some movies with my son this summer.

Loved the films! I loved the moment when that lady ran into him on the steps and his semi-pouty look that followed. What a fun day!
