ON MY PARENTS’ ISLAND – ISI & GUS

ON MY PARENTS’ ISLAND – ISI & GUS

I can’t tell you how much I love this project…I love being part of the day that is usually never witnessed. It’s like a secret view into family life.

The setting is consistent – the parents’ bed, but the family, the behaviour, the magic is different every time. I want to carry on exploring it further next year and try to photograph as many families as I can. Do be in touch if you’d like to participate…

What I love is how is this childhood… one of the memories that stays with you into adulthood. The cozy security of your parents room and the way each child feels & acts when in this environment. It’s wonderful to capture.

These are my good friends Francesca and Ben’s boys… I went early one Sunday morning, we hung out for a short while and I witnessed this. Thanks for being part of my project guys…

These boys are fabulous! You must check out Francesca’s amazing film as part of the 12.12.12 project – it’s so brilliant!

If you’d like to be part of my island project, pop me an email and let’s make it happen…
