15 Nov NOVEMBER – WEEK IN THE LIFE – MINI DAILY FILMS
Last week, I was hosting my Handmade Film Making online course, teaching how to shoot and edit video, using just your phone and celebrating the beauty of everyday life.
In this (sometimes) glossy online world, full of polished photos and videos, it was lovely to focus on the equally beautiful mundane moments. And sharing how you can package those ordinary memories into films to be enjoyed forever.
I joined in with the week of daily films because it’s been a project I’ve loved creating at various times this year.
People may have learning how to shoot and edit video using their phone, but it was more than that, it was about showing up and being creative every day and realising how much the little details of our lives can mean so much.
It was a joy to watch people’s lives all over the world… so many wonderful daily films. From snowy Canada, to sunny Australia, via Seattle or Arizona to the mountains of Switzerland, even round the corner from me in London. People were documenting their daily routines in fun captivating ways.

The Handmade Film Making course is running again in early December, which may seem like a crazy busy time, but actually there are lots of memories to be captured over the festive season, so it might just be the perfect time!
