MAKING MY OWN COLOUR

MAKING MY OWN COLOUR

Apart from the random blue sky and sunshine dotted in now and again, January & February are pretty grey, dull and cold around here… plenty of bare branches, muted tones, rain and bland skies pretty regularly.

I’ve been missing the regular vibrancy I typically love. So for the past couple of weeks, as part of a film I’d like to make for my course A JOURNEY, I’ve been making colour happen, wearing colour or capturing colour daily. It’s been fun, and certainly lifts the spirits and I hope to carry on capturing till spring arrives and colour resumes it’s happy place in abundance.

oh this resonates with me so deeply! and it’s funny because I was going through some images the other day, noticing just how many are full of color. which is not necessarily a new thing for me but what struck me is just how much I seek it out during january and february. and so I thought I should write a little about that, share those images. and then I came here and POW. so loving all your color. we are of the same mind these days, my friend. xxoo
