I’m over at Shutter sisters today, talking about the love of books that has taken over Cosmo lately, it’s so lovely to watch as he looses himself inside a good book. It means I’ve started a new photo series of course…

Talking of books… I’m super thrilled to be a small part of Tracey’s new book Elevate The Everyday. This book is packed with inspiration of how to photograph your everyday life as a parent, with loads of tips & tricks all beautifully illustrated with Tracey’s family photos.

When Tracey asked me to share a blog post about my boys, within her book, I jumped at the chance to be amongst this incredible collection of bloggers & photographers sharing their journeys of motherhood. What an honour. Hey, do you know what’s really cool? I can now cross #9 of my 38 birthday list. Woo hoo!

I’d love to give away a copyย ofย Elevate The Everyday,ย so if you’d like to hold this book in your hands, ready to document your everyday life, just leave me a comment here and I’ll pick a winner on Tues 24th July.

What a wonder to watch a child read! This past year I have noticed my 6 year old son swallowed up by the world of books. I get a magical tingle of joy every time I search for my son in the room and my eyes behold him deeply and peacefully absorbed by reading. I can’t help but smile with my whole being every single time. Your pictures capture that magical awe perfectly. Thank you for sharing.
