LONDON MARKETS – COLUMBIA ROAD

LONDON MARKETS – COLUMBIA ROAD

I’m a huge fan of Columbia Road Market. It always delivers a colour fix with it’s kaleidoscope of seasonal flowers, potted plants, succulents and cacti on offer.

I’ve been there a lot recently picking out flower props for various projects. The stalls are full of more blooms than you can imagine. Luckily, I often have a specific brief… but I always try and pick up a little something for us…. it’s pretty hard to choose what to bring home!

Covering just Columbia Road, it’s actually quite a small market. So, my top tip is to get there early to avoid the crowds or go later in the day, to pick up last minute bargains. It’s open every Sunday from 8am – 3pm.

As you can see from this film, we were there just after 8am and it’s wonderfully quiet! Luke likes going early because the sausage rolls at Lily Vanilli haven’t sold out.

Do check out this colour boost on a Sunday if you can!
