Five years ago, my fabulous sister started a business…

It was her dream to open a tea room, to decorate it with an eclectic mix of vintage goodies….

to serve afternoon tea on tired cake stands and mix match china…

to sell cakes for everyone to eat, even those with food allergies…

to create a space for people to celebrate those important occasions…. birthdays, hen parties, baby showers and even marriage proposals…

and a place where you can come on your own, enjoy a mug or pot of your favourite drink and enjoy the selection of magazines and let the day pass away with Doris Day in the background.

This is bake-a-boo.

I don’t know anyone who works as hard as my sister, through sickness and stressful times, she carries on day in, day out…. she carries on serving many people with delightful cake treats and all with a smile on her face.

Happy Birthday Boo… so proud of you…
