FAQ – WHAT DO YOU USE TO PAINT YOUR NAILS?

“I always think your hands and nail polish looks so lovely in all your films and pics. Can you possibly tell me what you use? Is it gel polish and a UV light? I especially love the different coloured nails”

Before lockdown, I would always go to the nail salon, obviously they had lots of colours!. I love gel polish and fortunately my nails are quite strong and always take the polish off properly, so it doesn’t seem to ruin my nails.

I couldn’t be without my gel nails during lockdown, so I invested in the kit.

I use DND Daisy gel polish because that’s what my salon uses and I knew what colours to get – I buy the polishes from eBay, they’re about £10 for duo – a gel and regular polish.

The lamp I use is by Nailstar Professional, I picked one that was around £25

Polish remover to soak off the gel – Mylee

Plus, you need good nail files, buffer, cuticle thingy for removing the gel.

Hope that helps!
