10 Jul FAQ – CAN YOU BE IN A DIFFERENT TIME ZONE & TAKE PART IN THE HANDMADE FILM MAKING COURSE?
Question – Will the time difference be challenging for the Handmade Film Making course? I live in Australia.
How much time would I need to allocate each day?
I am toying with the self paced course, to fit around life.
I would love to hear your thoughts.
Thanks so much for considering taking the Handmade Film Making course.
The good news is being in a different time zone shouldn’t matter for the majority of the course.
You can login to the course materials at any time after the start date of the course. You work through all the course materials and tutorials at your own pace. Ideally you’ll be shooting and editing your films throughout the week and you can share your films when you’re ready. The only “Live” element of the course are the Instagram Live Q&As, which happen on a private account just for members of my courses. There are three Live Q&A sessions spaced out over the 10 days and they happen at different times of the day (here in the UK) to accommodate different time zones. If you can’t attend live, you can submit questions to be answered and each recording is saved to watch at your convenience.
As for how much time do you need to create each day, this blog post goes into more detail – https://www.xantheberkeley.com/faq-how-much-time-do-you-need-for-handmade-film-making/
The self paced version is the same content as the active one. But it’s open to register and access the course materials anytime. The active course has a set start time and there are participants taking part from all over the world, so there’s more inspiration to be gained by watching the videos they’re sharing and being part of community. If you do opt for the self paced session, you’re welcome to join in with the active session any time during the 12 months.
Hope you join Handmade Film Making soon.
