FALLING IN LOVE WITH THE SAMSUNG GALAXY S7

FALLING IN LOVE WITH THE SAMSUNG GALAXY S7

I love a new gadget to play with, so when the lovely people at Three.co.uk offered me a chance to play around with the new Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, I said yes, straight away! I’d heard tons of great things about the camera and was looking forward to checking it out for myself…. and maybe seeing world in a new way.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge is a beautiful bit of kit. My teenage sons swooned over it as I pulled it out of the box. I had to prise it out of their hands, as we all fell in love with epic screen wrapping around the edge. So very cool.

I loved that the screen was as large as my iPhone 6s+ but the device was smaller and felt more comfortable in my hand – amazing design! Everything looks crisp, colourful and extra special through it.

I’d read that the phone was waterproof… but didn’t feel brave enough to test this out on a borrowed device. But I can imagine that would be handy if you’re shooting in the rain… which seems to be most of the time here in the UK!

I took the phone out on my recent instameet #wwim13colourlovers to see how the colours would look in the photos… and I was impressed.

Bold and bright… vibrancy shone through the screen as I shot these gorgeous balloons. Plus, knowing it has the ability shoot in RAW so the photos can be fully edited, if needed afterwards.

The camera is one of the best I’ve tried on a smart phone. I was sad giving back, but not as upset as my fourteen year old, who was straight away trying to figure out how he can trade his iPhone for one immediately.

Note about the collaboration – Three.co.uk very kindly lent me the phone, to try it out and share a review here – All opinions are my own.
