19 Jul ART & THE HEART
They say it’s good to step out your comfort zone and do something just for you. That’s what I did last week big time.
We all know that is important to keep learning and growing as an artist and I’ve wanted to do a photography workshop for ages now, but I’ve never been drawn to one as much as this. It was the mixture of creative vision and practical business tips, that Samm and Dan were sharing, that made me curious and determined to be part of it.
There was photography inspiration, encouragement to keep your passion for the art alive, by doing personal projects alongside work. Lots of hands on business and work flow processes were shared. We watched a couple shoot and saw the different approaches both Dan & Samm make and the images they create.
I meet a whole new bunch of creative souls and got to hang out with some old friends too… and spent four evenings out in a row socialising, I don’t think I’ve done that since I was in my 20’s!
My head is buzzing with all I want to make happen and how I’m going to keep growing my creative business… baby steps for now as I’ve still got plenty on my plate. I’m excited by all the possibilities.
It was an epic roller coaster of information, inspiration, & my own emotional stuff… and this is my photo story & memories of those three days…
Thank you Samm & Dan xo.
