09 Jan 24TH – DAY IN THE LIFE
Taking a moment to reflect on the journey I had with my 24TH: DAY IN THE LIFE (DITL) video project. Each month throughout 2024, I dedicated the 24th to capturing snippets of my daily life, encouraging members of the MAKE VIDEOS membership and Instagram community to do the same and I’m so happy with how my series of videos came together.
Each month is a snapshot into life at that moment. January was rainy, February I had Covid, March there was a surprise 50th birthday, April was all about dementia, edible delights in May, a birthday bbq in June, back in Hoi An in July, August was games a plenty and an ordinary day in September. For October I went to the herb village and had a little boogie in November. With last installment on Christmas Eve in December.
Creating DITL videos is one of my favourite projects. Firstly, it allows me to capture the fleeting moments of daily life that often go unnoticed. Each video showcases how I navigate life and the things that bring me joy. The process of filming, editing, and sharing is incredibly fun and rewarding.
By sharing my journey, I’ve encouraged others to reflect on their own lives and share their stories. It’s inspiring to see how this project resonates with so many people, each contributing their unique perspectives.
