Vanessa & Leon were the first couple to trust me to tell the story of their engagement and then their wedding. I was so honored to be part of their day, and since then we’ve become good friends. Vanessa wrote an email to me shortly after she saw her wedding photos, she signed off with this…”and I seriously can’t wait to have a baby so you can photograph my bump!!”

Fast forward a year or so, and they were pregnant! I was thrilled for them. With Vanessa’s due date looming we managed to find a morning last month, to take some photos, have a cuppa and talk babies. They had the nursery ready and were positively beaming with excitement.

Vanessa was so serene and dream like, I had to get the lensbaby out for a few shots.

Last week their daughter Lyla Rose arrived and apparently this new family are doing well… I can’t wait to go and see them all.

Nothing quite like a beautiful bump and an adorable couple so excited about the arrival of their first child.

On a beautiful autumn day, the delightful little girl Gisele was baptised just before she turned one… they were such a wonderful family, so kind and sweet… I can’t wait to see them again…

Here are a few of my favourites from the day.

When I met Alex back in October she was waiting patiently for her first baby Isaac to arrive, during the session we talked babies and labour as Alex was having a home birth….. she was really calm about his imminent arrival.

Last week I got to meet (and have a cuddle with….) the delightful 3 week old Isaac, he was adorable and so relaxed….. mama and baby have a beautiful bond.

I wish them all the happiness together.

This beautiful girl arrived a few days ago and she was gorgeous. More to come.

This mama-to-be is a yoga teacher, so we thought it would nice to have her doing some postures in a natural setting. Hampstead Heath made for a peaceful back-drop to this beautiful and serene woman, about to enter the next chapter of her life into motherhood. We spent a lovely afternoon capturing these last moments of pregnancy and talking babies & yoga.

Francesca’s baby arrived recently, I can’t wait to meet her next week.

this gorgeous mama and her son were a joy to photograph, we spent the morning together as she soaked up the last few days of being pregnant. She wanted a memory of this special time together before life changed.

and then a few days later, life did change and her little girl was born, she was just 3 hours old when the photos were taken. such a gorgeous newborn and the room was so full of love.

i wish this family much happiness together.
