Maybe not everyone, but not all people are able to travel, or travel with you and wished they had, so it's almost a way of being there with you. But itn't that with anything? Do people really want to see pictures of my dogs? I mean, there are dogs all over the place, what makes mine special? The answer: that I love them, and my photos show it. So even if no one else who visits here wants to see your holiday (and surely that isn't the case), I do. And maybe some other random passer-by. Dearest Xanthe,

People do like looking at photos of other people’s holidays. Maybe not everyone, but not all people are able to travel, or travel with you and wished they had, so it’s almost a way of being there with you.
