Another Five Fact Friday… playing along with all our friends in Behind The Scenes… just to let you know, there are still places for the September round of this course. We’d love to have you join us.

1. Billy Goats Gruff is one of my most memorable book from my childhood.

2. I used to hate life drawing at art college, but lately I’ve been realising what impact it’s probably had on me, in terms of understanding light, shape and form.

3. I’ve experienced one earthquake, in our 21st floor apartment in Manila, it was a weird feeling wobbling all over the place, as pictures fell to the floor.

4. I’m crossing off the weeks till California and attending Oasis at the end of October! Kim & I are heading there a little early, and we’re so excited!

5. I love camping… sleeping in a tent, cooking on the fire, being outdoors… yep everything.

And with that… we’re off camping this weekend to play in a field and I can’t wait!

    Yes…Billy Goat’s Gruff made a huge impact on me as well as a kid. And I’ve read it many times to my 3 little ones.

    Is it just me or does that last photo look like a shark coming out of the water? Love it.

    Great list! The only camping I like is either in the pop-up camper out in the backyard or a tent in the family room! I just don’t like to be far from running water (& flushing toilets)!!

    I’ve lived most of my life in earthquake country. Only one scared me, though. Since I had so many to compare it to, I knew that the Loma Prieta quake in 1989 was huge when I felt it! Not a fun feeling.
