Hi, I am Xanthe (pronounced Zan-thee) I live in London, UK… with the love of my life, our two amazing boys and two adorable cats.

Filling the frame with bright colours, movement, sunshine and smiles; my work centres around family life and adventures…

A wide variety of projects keeps my photography and film business busy. From guiding and inspiring others, through my online film courses, to my relaxed photo session reportage – capturing everyday moments and cataloging these memories is my passion.

“There’s nothing more magical to me, than being able to frame a moment or a connection in time. Lovers embracing, new parents wonderment at new life, siblings sharing laughter, families together & all the details that makes these bonds so wonderful.”

Hey, I’d love to capture your MOMENTS through one of my photo sessions… let me tell your stories through photos that can last forever.

Contact me for information regarding availability and pricing – each project and portrait session is different - email – xantheb [at] mac.com

I’ve taught hundreds of people all over the world, the joy of making little films – My online courses are HERE.

I’ve run workshops and hosted photo walks at GATHER :: Blogtactular :: Shutter sisters :: Squam :: Mollie Makes Handmade Awards :: The Bloom Forum

Also, I love working with brands through my blog and Instagram and creating film & photography content for social media campaigns – Some of the brands I’ve worked with are…

Canon USA :: Boden :: Cath Kidston :: Etsy UK :: Sipsmith gin :: Kipling Bags :: Penguin Books UK :: West Elm :: Anthropologie :: Toast :: IKEA UK :: Aspinal Bags :: AlpenUK :: Plumo :: kikki.K :: Push PR :: Bulmers cider :: Nokia Lumia :: First Choice Holidays :: Pedlars :: Motorola

A lover of sand between my toes and the chance to adventure and discover new places… and also, I love sitting around the campfire, wearing pretty shoes & bright colours and singing along to music with my boys…

Say hello… I’d love to hear from you x.

HI Xanthe, I have recently started a photo blog of my kids and your images and videos are so powerful and inspirational. What is the name of the song you use in your “klet me tell you everyday stories” video?

  • Le Coin de Mel

Wonderful website…fantastic photos. I’ve joined you for the color project and thank you! SO fun. I am familiar with you from Instagram and followed you at some point last year when you were on far away destinations with your family, it was amazing and inspirational to say the least. Anyway, just popping in. Take care!!

    Hi Xanthe,
I’ve been browsing through your work instead of finishing behind the scene’s. I got to lesson 12 and your beautiful photo with your sons and then I got lost on your stream..
I wonder if you would mind sharing what your favorite lens is when shooting those portraits? and if you pretty much stick with that one lens or move around to other…
    Your portrait work is beautiful.

Wow! I’ve just discovered your work through seeing one of your weddings on Rock My Wedding. Your work is so beautiful, so much character and gorgeous light. Love your website too.

Love you site, found you through the Kim Klassen blog. I assume you are in London? I am as well! During a rest between contracts I am looking to do a bit more shooting – I do a lot of the community garden I volunteer on. Great place for colour, but no mustard yellow as of yet!

    Hi Xanthe,
What wonderful pictures! I am just looking for a Wedding Photographer in Berkeley, California and your Website showed up. I was so amazed seeing the film about LOVE and am so sad that you do not live/work in Berkeley, CA to shoot our small Wedding ;-)

I will put you in my favourites and come back from time to time. It is such a different style of Photographer´s Website. I love it.

    All the best!
